City Council approved the 2026 Meeting Dates for 2026 on Monday 12/01/25 at the Regular City Council Meeting.

City Hall will be closed for the following holidays: Christmas 12/24 & 12/25 and New Year 12/31 and 1/1/26.

The Bangor Board of Review will be meeting Thursday 12/11/25 @ 10AM at City Hall 257 W Monroe St Bangor, MI. This meeting will be held for clerical errors only and not for appeal hearings.

Thursday November 20, 2025 @ 4:30 PM at Charles Park, Corner of N Center St and East Monroe (M43) Bring your ideas for improvements to the park!!

DPW will be performing Hydrant Flushing November 17th throughout the City. Hydrant Flushing can cause temporary discoloration in water. If you experience this, please run your water on cold until the water runs clear.

Brush and Leaf Pick Up will end on the week of November 17, 2025

City Hall is closed on Tuesday November 11, 2025 in observance of Veterans Day. Normal hours of Operation resume Wednesday November 12, 2025 at 9AM.

The Regular meeting has been changed to the Second Tuesday of each month at 5PM at 257 W Monroe St.

The purpose of the Special Meeting is for the City’s Controlling Authority to consider allegations against Mayor Farmer and determine the next course of action in accordance to Chapter 36: Standards of Conduct for the City of Bangor.

Thursday October 9th, 2025 at 6PM at 257 W Monroe St Bangor, MI 49013. This is a Special Meeting/Controlling Authority.

City of Bangor official Halloween Trick or Treat hours 5 PM to 7 PM on Friday October 31, 2025. Be sure to stop by City Hall and the Police Department for some candy!
