The City of Bangor is accepting applications for the position of crossing guard. Crossing guards operate under the direction of the Bangor Police Department. Crossing guards are utilized Monday through Friday during the school season for approximately two (2) hours per day.

The employee in this position must be willing to take advice and direction for a full array of duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. This includes a variety of skilled or semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of all facets of public housing units and related facilities. The individual will perform a variety tasks for the facility and grounds maintenance, cleaning, building maintenance and repair of a variety of public housing facilities in multiple locations.
